The Undergraduate Student Government Association elections are just around the corner.

A year ago, then USGA President-elect Jeff Gardosh told The Triangle, "A year from now I'd like to have 3,000 to 4,000 votes in the elections, not 1,200."

In the past three years the number of voters in the USGA elections seems to have plateaued.

Let's get the bad part out of the way first. Saddam Hussein was a tyrant - a man who ruled ruthlessly, crushed opponents without compunction, waged aggressive war, erected palaces and monuments to himself on a scale that would have made Stalin blush, and wrote execrable fiction and verse.

Brews Clues: Troegs' Rugged Trail Nut Brown Ale

Somewhere between the bitter pale ales and the malty black stouts lies the brown ale. Like a stout, the brown ale gets most of its character from malts, but its color is not as dark. They generally have more malts than their pale counterparts, but more hoppiness than their stout cousins.
